The coin obverse depicts a collage of Roman Apollon Temple in Side, Lycian Rock tombs in Demre and the Greek Four Seasons Godess sculpture, all in Antalya and the reverse depicts The Stone Bridge built under Hadrian and The Clock Tower in Adana, largest two cities of the Mediterranean Region of Turkey.

Thanks a lot for the comments.

That rail was a piece of a special ventilation system, I had an extra piece. The base was also aluminum and frankly it was pure luck to have them.

800th anniversary of Mevlana's birth

800th birthday of Mevlana

The Turkish State Mint has released three new commemorative coins as a result of a design contest with the theme :"800th anniversary of Mevlana's Birth".

The first prize is 3.000 YTL (TRL) and 5 pcs of the minted coin
The second prize is 2.000 YTL (TRL) and 2 pcs of the minted coin
The third prize is 1.000 YTL (TRL) and 2 pcs of the minted coin

All the three coins have the same reverse with the face value, the year of issue (2007), the inscription "800th anniversary of Mevlana's Birth"
and the logos of the mint, the touristic Turkey logo (in Turkish), a logo what seems to be a figure of a Whirling Dervish (probably a logo for these celebrations) and a logo of UNESCO
